The Heights Chiropractic uses a direct reimbursement model.
Payment is made at the time of service, and we provide the documentation you may need to submit a claim to your insurance company. Reimbursement varies by plan and may be subject to your deductible, copay, visit limits, or other coverage requirements, so reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.
We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to understand your out-of-network chiropractic benefits.

How people respond after adjustments varies significantly. Most tell an improvement after their first adjustment. As things are being realigned, it is common to feel as though you just worked out. It is always a concern if you hurt (more than muscle soreness) after an adjustment, and important to bring that to your chiropractor's attention.
-
Chiropractic care cannot reverse arthritis or restore cartilage that has already been lost. However, some people with osteoarthritis or age-related joint changes seek care to support mobility, manage stiffness, and move more comfortably.
Dr. McCarty will consider the location and severity of your arthritis, your symptoms, health history, and any available imaging before determining whether chiropractic care is appropriate. Care may be modified to use gentler techniques when needed.
-
Yes. For many patients, chiropractic care can be a helpful part of a conservative, non-surgical approach to a herniated disc.
A herniated disc may contribute to low-back pain, sciatica, pain extending into the hip or leg, numbness, tingling, stiffness, or restricted movement. Dr. McCarty has experience caring for patients with disc-related symptoms and adapts treatment to each person’s condition, comfort, and response to care.

Exercise, strength training, stretching, yoga, massage, sleep, and good nutrition can all play valuable roles in how you feel and move. However, when misalignments and compensations in the body builds, exercise can sometimes exacerbate pain and posture patterns.
Chiropractic care does not replace those healthy habits. It is one part of a broader approach to mobility, musculoskeletal comfort, and wellness, and is meant to be a foundation for the movement of our lives.
