Thera-band Exercises

Like foam rolling, the thera-band is an under-stated and under-used modality. Utilizing the thera-band is an INCREDIBLE resource to strengthen and define musculature, and is not limited to rehab purposes. Basically, it applies to everyone. Due to its lightness and the fact that it requires technique gives a person little ability to injure themselves with the thera-band, while achieving the defining lines of weight lifting. But more than that, it can target the smaller muscles in the spine, rotator-cuff muscles, and hip joints that are overpowered by larger muscles. That is why thera-band is used for rehabilitation purposes, but in consideration it should be utilized as a preventative means to enhance stability in all joints.

I offer Posture 101 classes to specifically focus on utilizing thera-band exercises because looking at pictures and reading descriptions, it is difficult to know what you are feeling, and where you should be feeling it.

However, I would love to provide this resource from the Thera-band manual for existing patients, as well as to those who would like to transform their curiosity to a better understanding by scheduling a class or chiropractic examination here. Enjoy!
